#IrishFilm: Charity screening of Robbie Walsh’s Eden in ODEON Point Village on March 5th

Writer/Director Robbie Walsh will host a charity screening of his feature film Eden in ODEON Point Village on March 5th at 7pm. The screening is being organised to help raise awareness on homelessness, with all proceeds and donations going to the Dublin Simon Community.

An Irish film about a possible future for people, because we as a society took a huge bite from a financial apple only to find we could not afford it. We follow Adam throughout one day of his life living on the streets of Dublin, he is a man left homeless in the wake of the Irish financial crisis. We share in Adams living experiences and sometimes heartbreaking encounters with the different people from every walk of life he has while living rough.

The film stars Johnny Elliott (Assassins, Charlie Casanova, Patrick’s Day), Sarah Carroll (Z Nation, The Limit Of, Love/Hate, This Must Be The Place), Chris Newman (Red Rock, Song for a Raggy Boy, Love/Hate, The Clinic), Robbie Walsh (Fair City, Love/Hate, Assassins, Michael Inside, S.P.L.I.T.), Stuart Donel Foran (Into The West, War Of The Buttons, Joey’s Christmas), Alan Sherlock (Spider’s Web, Red Room, Lift, The Guards), Brendan Sheehan (Into The Badlands, Observer Effect, Bridget & Eamon), Kellie Blaise (Death Race, The O’Briens, Proof, Doctors, The Borgias), and Nicci St George Smith (Soprano).
