#IrishFilm: Maurice O’Carroll’s Dead Along The Way signs worldwide digital distribution deal

The team behind Irish film Dead Along The Way have signed a worldwide digital distribution deal with New York based Janson Media. The no-budget movie premiered at Galway Film Fleadh 2016 and went on a sell out tour of film festivals and enjoyed a theatrical release in selective cinemas across the country.

Dead Along The Way is a fun movie with lots of heart about a pair of hapless wedding videographers trying to hide a dead body before a wedding ceremony.

Dead Along The Way was written, directed, and edited by Maurice O’Carroll, and produced by Sinéad O’Riordan and Elaine O’Carroll. They are currently working on a new free-to-view web series called Sucking Diesel. The film stars stars Niall Murphy (Dracula Untold), Ciaran Bermingham (Game of Thrones, The Young Offenders), Tom Lawlor (Love/Hate, Sucking Diesel), and Ben Condron (A Date for Mad Mary).

Our film mantra was ‘made with our own blood’ and Dead Along The Way has enjoyed sell out shows on both the festival and theatrical circuits. But now we are very excited to be teaming up with Janson Media who have a track record of bringing Irish film to US and worldwide audiences on the likes of Netflix and Amazon platforms.

Audiences have already shown a huge appetite for the film. Janson Media felt like the best fit for us and we can’t wait to share the film with mass audiences online
