Coda, a short Irish animation funded by the Irish Film Board, RTE and the Arts Council, has been selected to screen at the prestigious South by SouthWest (SXSW) film festival in Austin, Texas.
The film is a nine minute long hand-drawn animation, directed by Alan Holly, and featuring a selection of animated scenes.
The entire endeavour is the culmination of two years of painstaking work by a small team of dedicated animation artists. The film is voiced by Love/Hate star Brian Gleeson and by Wind that Shakes the Barley‘s Orla Fitzgerald.
Coda now follows the path of many recent Irish films who have found a home at the SXSW film festival, having been selected by SXSW from 4,249 short film applications.
Hopefully Irish audiences will get a chance to see the film soon, but for now the trailer is below.
