Variety is reporting that Irish star Jack Reynor has been cast in Cedric Jimenez’s HHhH, a WWII-set drama about the rise and fall of Reinhard Heydrich, the Nazi leader that Hitler called “the man with the iron heart.”
Reynor will star alongside fellow rising star Jack O’Connell as two British paratroopers sent to assassinate Jason Clarke’s Heydrich. Rosamund Pike and Mia Wasikowska will play Heydrich’s wife Lina, and a Czech resistance fighter respectively.
The film is based on Laurent Binet’s debut novel of the same name, with the screenplay adapted by David Farr, Audrey Diwan and Jimenez.
Shooting will begin in Prague and Budapest in early August.
