brian-domhnall-gleeson_imageThe Hollywood Reporter has it that brothers Brian and Domhnall Gleeson are in talks to star in Noah director Darren Aronofsky’s untitled new film for Paramount Pictures.

The brothers would join Michelle Pfeiffer, Jennifer Lawrence, and Javier Bardem on the film, which focuses on a couple whose relationship is tested when uninvited guests come to their home, disrupting their lives.

No details have emerged on who Brian and Domhnall might play in the film, which Arofonsky also wrote. The brothers last appeared together on stage  in Dublin, with their father Brendan, in an adaptation of Enda Walsh’s play The Walworth Farce.

This has been a busy month of casting for Domhnall, who is in talks to portray Winnie the Pooh creator A.A. Milne, as well as having signed on to Netflix’s National Lampoon feature A Futile And Stupid Gesture. He can next be seen in the Doug Liman-directed Mena with Tom Cruise, before returning as General Hux in Star Wars: Epidode VIII.

Brian has just wrapped on Declan Recks’ new comedy The Flag, with Pat Shorrt and Moe Dunford, and will next be seen in Simon Dixon’s Irish co-produced war-thriller Tiger Raid, which is world premièring at the Tribeca Film Festival, followed by Assassin’s Creed with fellow Irish star Michael Fassbender.
