Irish Abroad: Sodium Party nominated in Greece for the Golden Pegasus

Experimental thrillerSodium Party has been nominated for the Golden Pegasus award at the 5th Peloponnesian International Film Festival. The feature is one of seven nominees for the award and screened yesterday in the Alexandreio Conference Cenre in Loutrakiou, Greece.

Described as “…a modern Alice In Wonderland-esque tale…” and noted for its beautiful cinematography and emotive story, the film stars Slaine Kelly (The O’Briens, The Tudors), James Corscadden, Marian Rose and Melissa Nolan, and is in the midst of a successful worldwide festival run after premiering at the inaugural IndieCork Film Fest last October. The Weird Pretty Pictures production has played across the United States of America, Europe, Australia, and Asia, and following the screening in Greece, the film will be shown at the Ayvalik Film Festival in Turkley, Oshkosh Horror Film Festival in America and is shortlisted for the Valley Film Festival in North Hollywood, with more festivals to follow.
