Scannain talks about Disney Pixar’s latest animated adventure Coco with director Lee Unkrich and producer Darla K. Anderson.

Despite his family’s generations-old ban on music, young Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead. After meeting a charming trickster named Héctor, the two new friends embark on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.

The concept of the film is based on the Mexican holiday of the Day of the Dead. The film was scripted by Alfred Molina and Matthew Aldrich from a story by Lee Unkrich, Jason Katz, Aldrich and Molina. It stars the voices of Anthony Gonzalez, Gael García Bernal, Benjamin Bratt, and Alanna Ubach.

Coco is out now in Irish cinemas.
