#Competition: Win a trip for two to the European Film Awards with Creative Europe MEDIA

Creative Europe Desk Ireland MEDIA have launched a competition which offers two people the opportunity to win a trip to the 29th European Film Awards ceremony, which will be held on December 10th in Wroclaw, Poland.

The prize includes a flight voucher to Wroclaw, two nights accommodation (Friday 9th and Saturday 10th December 2016) and invitations to the Gala Dinner and Ceremony. Winners will also be invited by the European Film Academy to participate in the activities especially arranged for the Academy Members in Wroclaw.

50 films have been nominated by the European Film Academy for the European Film Awards 2016. Thirty-three European countries are represented in a list that illustrates the diversity of European cinema. Overall, four Irish features are represented in the European Film Awards in the Feature Film Selection, Documentary Selection and the People’s Choice Award; Mammal directed by Rebecca Daly and produced by Fastnet Films and the Oscar winning Room directed by Lenny Abrahamson and produced by Element Pictures are both nominated in the Feature Film Selection. Land of the Enlightened which is co-produced by Fastnet Films is nominated in the Documentary Selection, and The Lobster has been nominated for the People’s Choice Awards. Both The Lobster and Land of the Enlightened are supported by Creative Europe’s MEDIA programme.
