Competition: Win tickets to Tonnerre @ IFI French Film Festival

Every year the Irish Film Institute, in association with Carte Noire, put on a festival of the finest in French filmmaking. This year’s French Film Festival takes place from November 19th to 30th, at the IFI , Temple Bar, Dublin.

With thanks to the Irish Film Institute we have 2 pairs of tickets to give away to their screening of Guillaume Brac’s Tonnerre on Thursday November 20th at 8:45pm. The film sees Maxime (Vincent Macaigne) return to live with his father (Bernard Ménez) in Tonnerre (meaning ‘thunder’), a small town in the Burgundy region. With the young and pretty Mélodie, a journalist at the regional newspaper, Maxime finds love when it is least expected. Amidst the apparent tranquility of Tonnerre, a passion is born giving way to obsession.

Individual tickets for the Carte Noire IFI French Film Festival films are on sale now at the IFI Box Office in person, on the phone on 01 679 3477 or online at www.ifi.ie. More details on the Festival can be found on the IFI website too.
