On the Second day of Irish Film Christmas Scannain sent to me…two Christina Nobles, and a Panti in a Pear Tree!
Deirdre O’Kane and Sarah Greene play Christina Noble in this biopic of Irish children’s rights campaigner, who in 1989 founded the The Christina Noble Children’s Foundation, an organisation which seeks to help children in Vietnam and Mongolia.
The film also stars Brendan Coyle, Liam Cunningham, and Ruth Negga. The film is written and directed by Sweety Barrett director Bradley. Both O’Kane and Greene were rewarded with IFTAs earlier this year for their respective portrayals of Christina Noble.
