A hard-hitting, powerful drama Patrick’s Day was our second best film of 2015, and sees Moe Dunford (Vikings) as a young man with mental health issues who becomes intimate with a flight attendant with her own demons.  When his obsessive mother finds out she enlists a dysfunctional detective to separate them.

The film is the second feature from writer/director Terry McMahon and has won numerous awards world-wide, including IFTAs for Lead Actor, Best Sound and Best Script. Patrick’s Day is an Ignition Film Productions production with Underground Films and Forefront Features in association with Bord Scannán na hÉireann / The Irish Film Board and RTÉ.
