Absolutely everything about Red, the upcoming adaptation of the Warren Ellis comic, looks fantastic. This brand new clip is no exception. I mean it’s got Dame Helen Mirren with a chain-gun!
The plot tells the story of a former black-ops CIA agent now living a quiet life in retirement until the day a high-tech assassin shows up intent on killing him.
The movie itself has an all-star line-up featuring Bruce Willis, Mary-Louise Parker, Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Karl Urban, Brian Cox, Richard Dreyfuss, Ernest Borgnine, Julian McMahon, James Remar and Rebecca Pidgeon.
It’s directed by Flightplan director Robert Schwentke and is out October 22nd.
Synopsis:
Frank, Joe, Marvin, and Victoria used to be the CIA’s top agents — but the secrets they know just made them the Agency’s top targets.
