I’m pretty sure that this movie is going to be awful but by golly is this an amazing poster. The film in question is Piranha 3D, Alexandre Aja‘s remake of the 1978 B-movie classic.
The cast features an eclectic mix of wash-ups, wannabes and some actual proper stars. The stars on-hand include Richard Dreyfuss (who just can’t escape killer fish), Ving Rhames, Christopher Lloyd and Eli Roth, whilst the other include Elisabeth Shue, Kelly Brook, Jerry O’Connell and Dina Meyer.
The basic plot sees a lakeside town terrorised by a school of prehistoric fish, with razor-sharp teeth and a taste for human. Against them stands a rag-tag bunch of old-timers and spring-breaking youngsters. So exactly who you’d want stopping rampaging fish…
I’m not holding out much hope for this but it could end up a guilty pleasure. Piranha 3D is out August 20th.
