Sony Pictures wants you to see Resident Evil: Afterlife, the fourth movie to be based on the popular video-game. With that in mind they have released a new poster and some images from the Paul WS Anderson directed feature.
Quite why you’d want to see it is another question, with the previous three not being up to the level set by the extraordinary videogame series, but then it does have a fine looking cast.
Milla Jovovich returns as Alice dispatched this time to LA in her quest to find any remaining fully human survivors of the undead plague, and bring down the Umbrella corporation. Ali Larter’s Claire Redfield also returns, with Prison Break’s Wentworth Miller joining as her brother Chris (a familiar character from the games).
Sienna Guillory’s Jill Valentine is also set to return in a minor role so there will be plenty of girls (and one guy) running around with guns if that’s your thing. Anderson is shooting in 3D this time so maybe the new dimension will help.
The movie is out September 10th.
