In a diversion from the usual movie antics I bring you news of a special charity event that’s taking place in Dublin on Saturday August 28th. The event…a 90s Disco (the kind I used to go to and could never get anywhere at all those years ago…actually nothing has changed on that front except the music…but I digress).
The purpose of the legendary night of old-school tunes is to raise money for Temple Street Children’s Hospital. And no-one can deny that kids don’t need looking after, especially sick kids.
The event takes place upstairs in McGrattan’s, 76 Fitzwilliam Lane, Off Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2, which is really easy to get to so you have no excuse.
There’s a €10 cover charge payable at the door, but if you find yourself unable to attend you can donate here.
For further details check out the official Facebook page. Oh and fancy dress is optional!
