The comeback continues for the king of action cinema with Sabotage, an action thriller centering on a group of DEA agents who carry out dangerous missions under the command of Scwharzenegger’s Breacher, a tough veteran who’s life and family come under fire when members of his task force steal money from a drug cartel and he’s forced into a deadly battle to save his loved ones from certain death at the hands of the criminals who want their money back..
Directed and co-written by David Ayer, a former US Navy soldier, who is best known for writing the Oscar-winning thriller Training Day, has also written screenplays for The Fast And The Furious, S.W.A.T. and Dark Blue, as well as writing and directing last year’s End Of Watch. Skip Woods, writer of A Good Day To Die Hard, The A-Team, Swordfish and X-Men Origins: Wolverine, serves as co-writer with Ayer.
Also starring Sam Worthington (Avatar, Terminator: Salvation, Clash Of The Titans), Olivia Williams (The Sixth Sense, Hanna, Anna Karenina) and Terrence Howard (Iron Man, Prisoners, The Butler), Sabotage will hit screens April 2014.
