Diane Disney Miller, daughter of the late great master of animation, Walt Disney, has died from injuries sustained in a fall back in September, aged 79.
CEO of Disney Robert Iger has spoken about her tragic death: “We are deeply saddened by the loss of Diane Disney Miller and our thoughts are with her family during this difficult time. As the beloved daughter of Walt Disney and one of his inspirations for creating Disneyland, she holds a special place in the history of the Walt Disney Company and in the hearts of fans everywhere. She will be remembered for her grace and generosity and tireless work to preserve her father’s legacy, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.”
Diane, who played an important role in continuing her father’s legacy with projects including the world famous Walt Disney Concert Hall and Disney Family Museum, is survived by her 7 children and husband, Ron W. Miller, former head of The Walt Disney Company.
