Open Road Films has released the first trailer for director Steven Soderbergh’s psychological thriller Side Effects. The film may be the last we see from Soderbergh so hopefully it’s a good’un.
The film centres on a troubled young woman who develops a dangerous love triangle between her doctor and her newly paroled husband.
Rooney Mara takes centre-stage, with Jude Law and Channing Tatum playing the men in her life. Catherine Zeta Jones also features.
Side Effects is released in Ireland on March 8th. It also features in the Jameson Dublin Film Festival this February.
SIDE EFFECTS is a provocative thriller about Emily and Martin (Rooney Mara and Channing Tatum), a successful New York couple whose world unravels when a new drug prescribed by Emily’s psychiatrist (Jude Law) – intended to treat anxiety – has unexpected side effects.
