First clip of Transformers: Dark Of The Moon fails to impress

Paramount has just unveiled the first clip from the Michael Bay-directed third movie in the Transformers series, Transformers: Dark Of The Moon. The clip shows a scene between Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Patrick Dempsey. Shame it’s not very interesting.

The movie depicts the true reasoning for the Apollo moon landings, and the impact of that on the modern day, a the Transformers and humas face off against their biggest threat.

In addition to LaBeouf, Huntington-Whiteley and Dempsey the movie also stars Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Alan Tudyk, Ken Jeong, and most interestingly John Malkovich.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon lands in cinemas July 1st.

Synopsis:

The Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime “Transformers” character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.
