International Trailer for Priest 3D

Sony Pictures has released a brand new international trailer for Priest 3D. It’s very similar to the recent US feature-length trailer but mixes up the action and adds some new stuff. It definitely seems to have more vampires than before.

The movie sees a warrior priest disobeying Church law and teaming with a young sheriff and a beautiful priestess to track down a band of renegade vampires who have kidnapped the priest’s niece before they turn her into one of them.

Paul Bettany stars, alongside Karl Urban, Cam Gigandet, Maggie Q, Lily Collins, Brad Dourif, Stephen Moyer, and Christopher Plummer. Bettany’s Legion director Scott Charles Stewart is behind the camera.

Priest 3D is released May 13th.

Synopsis:

Set for release in spring 2011, this Screen Gems thriller is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi ride, set in an alternate world – one ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires. The story revolves around a legendary Warrior Priest from the last Vampire War who now lives in obscurity among the other downtrodden human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities ruled by the Church. When his niece is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires, Priest breaks his sacred vows to venture out on a quest to find her before they turn her into one of them. He is joined on his crusade by his niece’s boyfriend, a trigger-fingered young wasteland sheriff, and a former Warrior Priestess who possesses otherworldly fighting skills. Directed by Scott Charles Stewart and written by Cory Goodman along with Min-Woo Hyung from the graphic novel series “Priest”, PRIEST stars Paul Bettany, Karl Urban, Cam Gigandet, Maggie Q, Lily Collins, Brad Dourif, Stephen Moyer, and Christopher Plummer.
