WALL-E

#Event: WALL-E outdoor screening Saturday September 24th at Sandymount Green

This Saturday (September 24th), Happenings, in association with Stop Climate Chaos, present Disney/Pixar’s modern classic WALL-E at Sandymount Green.

WALL-E, short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-class, is the last robot left on Earth. He spends his days tidying up the planet, one piece of garbage at a time. But during 700 years, WALL-E has developed a personality, and he’s more than a little lonely. Then he spots EVE, a sleek and shapely probe sent back to Earth on a scanning mission. Smitten WALL-E embarks on his greatest adventure yet when he follows EVE across the galaxy.

Doors open at 6:30pm and the movie starts when the sun goes down (approx 7:30-7:45pm). There will be a selection of food available for purchase on the night, but you are also welcome to bring your own picnic.

The goal of this Open-Air Screening is to raise awareness on environmental issues and WALL-E is an apt movie for the occasion. For more info and bookings visit USHERU.
