Festival: Submissions open for Cork City’s 5th UnderGround Film Festival

The UnderGround Film Festival, (formerly the UnderGround Short Film Festival) which is celebrating its 5th year, is now open for submissions for both short and feature films.

There are competitive categories for Irish and International feature films as well as short film categories for Made in Cork, Comedy, Drama, Documentary/Experimental, Sci-Fi/Horror, National, International, Animation, Irish Language, Polish Filmmaker, Spanish, Irish-American, and Music Video.

The festival takes place from August 22nd – 29th at venues across Cork City, with the diversity of categories offering a little something for everyone. The UnderGround Film Festival will once again donate the proceeds from select screenings to the ISPCC.

To date 10 countries have made submissions, including America, Australia, Spain, Iran, and Great Britain.
