Submissions are now open Sky Road TV & Film Festival, October 9th – 11th

Sky Road TV & Film Festival has announced the opening of the submission process for the 2015 festival, which takes place this October 9th – 11th at the Station House Theatre, in Clifden, Co Galway. Perfectly placed in October for autumn and winter releases, the festival aims to shine a spotlight on the best of Irish Film, Television and New Media.

The festival’s aim is to give Irish filmmakers a better opportunity to screen their content at festival level. If you have a new documentary or film near completion, they would love to hear from you. The submissions for the Feature Film & Short Film categories open today the 16th June 2015 and will close on the 28th of August 2015. Early bird entry fee is €10 plus booking fee.

Television (submissions open 22nd June)

  • Best Feature Documentary
  • Best Short Documentary
  • Best Documentary Series

New Media (submissions open 26th June)

  • 1 minute short: Shot and Edited on Mobile under 1 minute
  • 3 minute short: Shot and Edited on Mobile under 1 minute

For those seeking a career in the industry, or with an interest in TV and film production, the festival will run practical workshops in Animation, Cinematography, Acting and Video Editing. We are also looking for volunteers with a strong curiosity in film and who have an eagerness to help out and learn from the experience.
