The Irish Film Institute (IFI) will host a special screening of Mark O’Connor’s Cardboard Gangsters on its opening weekend on Saturday, June 17th.  Stuart Carolan, creator of Love/Hate, will host a post-screening Q&A with O’Connor and lead actor John Connors (King of the Travellers, Love/Hate), who co-wrote the film together.

The film follows a group of wannabe cardboard gangsters as they attempt to gain control of the drug trade in Darndale, chasing the glorified lifestyle of money, power and sex.
